Does RHINO LININGS® protective coating interfere with the installation of other accessories?
Generally, there should be no clearance issues with the installation of other accessories - but it's always a good idea to contact our offices at (864) 729-3755 or info@RhinoProShop.com and consult with one of our certified technicians first if you have an accessory with an installation tolerance that is less than 1/4". Plus, all Rhino Linings go extremely well with fifth wheel hitches!
How long does it take?
A professionally installed Rhino Linings® spray-on truck bed liner application typically takes about 3-4 hours. On a busy day, it could take a little longer. Usually, people bring us their truck in the morning, and then pick it up later in the afternoon.
As for our Rhino Linings Eco-Coat® RV Roof Coating application, from start to completion the average time is 3 business days. The most important thing is that we don't skip any steps. Doing it right should be more important than doing it fast.

Can I use my truck right away?
Yes, Rhino Linings® protective coatings dries to the touch in just seconds after it is applied to the surface of the truck bed. By the time the truck is removed from the spray area and the masking materials are removed, it is normally dry but a little tacky to the touch. At this point it is ready to be driven out of the shop, even if it is raining. However, the purchaser should be relatively easy on the bed for the next 24-48 hours. For example, it would be ok to carry groceries and other light loads right away, but you wouldn't want to carry heavy furniture until after 48 hours in order to allow the material to fully cure.
What about the drain holes in my truck bed? Will they still be open?
Yes, one of the advantages of a Rhino Linings® spray-on bed liner over a plastic drop-in bed liner is that it maintains your truck's factory-designed drainage system. Drop-in truck bed liners often don't fit tightly enough and water and ice tend to settle under the liner, ultimately leading to rust.
Is RHINO LININGS® protective coating repairable?
Yes, if you damage your truck, contact our offices at (864) 729-3755 or info@RhinoProShop.com and consult with one of our certified technicians about the damage and we will explain the course of action we will take to make a seamless and professional quality repair.
Will the bed feel hotter than the rest of my truck?
No, Rhino Linings® protective coating forms a direct bond to the surface of your truck bed, allowing efficient heat transfer (i.e. no thermal effect compared to a drop-in). In fact, it will actually "feel" cooler than the metal on your truck on a hot day!
Will the lining hold up in rugged conditions and temperature extremes?
Yes. Rhino Linings® spray on lining products are specifically engineered not to warp, crack, peel or split due to weather or other environmental factors. Our spray-on liners are engineered to withstand the severe cold of Alaska to the intense heat of Arizona, (temperatures between -40 degrees F and 190 degrees F). Unlike plastic drop-in liners or other spray-on liners, Rhino Linings products are formulated to withstand heavy-duty use while offering superior abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Does RHINO LININGS® protective coating come in colors?
Yes, Rhino Linings protective coating can be sprayed in virtually any color you'd like. We can even custom pigment to match your color specifications. For maximum UV protection and long-lasting color, we recommend our SolarMax® product, which has the color built right into the chemistry. Contact our offices at (864) 729-3755 or info@RhinoProShop.com and consult with one of our certified technicians to learn more about our colored truck bed liner options.
Is there a product warranty?
Yes! All Rhino Linings® retail applicators offer a Nationwide Limited Lifetime Warranty that is good for as long as you own your vehicle. The warranty covers issues like peeling, blistering, flaking or bubbling of the sprayed-on truck bed liner. If you happen to move, the warranty is valid at any other 850 Rhino Linings retail locations nationwide. For more information, please contact our offices at (864) 729-3755 or info@RhinoProShop.com and consult with one of our certified technicians about our warranty program.
What is and isn't covered by the lifetime warranty?
The lifetime warranty says that Pro Truck, Bus and RV will repair or replace, free of charge any defect in materials or workmanship that results in bubbling, peeling or cracking of the coating. On the other hand, the warranty does not cover any scratches or chips that might result from the movement of heavy/sharp objects over the bedliner. Think of it this way, it’s very similar to the warranty on your truck paint job: if the paint cracks or peels because it is faulty, it is covered. On the other hand, if scratch or chip your paint due to a minor or major incident, the paint warranty does not cover the damage.
What exactly is Rhino Linings made out of?
The Rhino Lining material is a premium quality, 100% solid elastomeric polyurethane. The commonly-used Rhino Lining product is also know as Tuff Stuff. The raw material comes in two parts, resin and isocyanate. The two parts are proportionally combined at the tip of the application gun just as it is sprayed onto the surface. It dries very quickly to form the finished coating.
Can RHINO LININGS® protective coating be used as an undercoating?
Yes, the best way to position undercoating with Rhino products is to have it done during a "frame off" restoration. This would be similar to powder coating, where each piece is individually removed, coated and then reassembled. This approach ensures that there is a consistent coating without missed areas or incomplete coverage.
What other applications can RHINO LININGS® protective coating be used for?
Rhino Linings products can be applied to virtually any properly prepared surface for durable and long-lasting protection. Grille guards and truck cab interiors, van interiors, large truck compartment interiors, bumpers, rocker panels, fender flares, floor wells, boat decks and boat hulls are just some examples. Rhino Linings products can also be used on RVs, Jeeps & off road vehicles, horse & utility trailers, ATVs & UTVs, transit and tour buses, watercraft, construction equipment, safety and military equipment and anything else that will benefit from outstanding protection and corrosion resistance. Yes. Rhino Linings truck bed liner products have no VOCs (no possible health hazards) or CFCs (which can damage the ozone layer).

Yes. We have a waiting area with magazines and cable TV to help pass the time. If you make a firm appointment time, and we know you're going to wait for your truck, we will plan our work schedule to get your truck into the process as soon as you arrive. Feel free to contact our offices at (864) 729-3755 or info@RhinoProShop.com and speak to one of our staff to setup an appointment.
Is it safe to leave my vehicle with you overnight?
Yes. In most cases, we are able to keep your vehicle locked inside our professional security alarm protected shop overnight. Your vehicle is covered by our shop insurance policy, but at any rate, this is a safe place and your vehicle will be guarded with the upmost care.
What steps do you take to ensure a professional installation?
The most important factor in our "finish work" is the experience of our team. Our "techs" have been with us for many years, and they have installed thousands of vehicles, including many brand new trucks and RVs straight from the dealerships. Our workers' experience results in a very even coating of the material and texture, as well as sharp, clean edges where the liner ends and the truck finish begins. The key to total overspray prevention is expert masking. Also, we always take off any removable hardware before we spray, and replace it when we're done. Take a minute to read our posting on the importance of choosing a professional and certified applicator.
How thick is the material applied?
The Rhino Linings material (polyurethane) is sprayed in by our certified and experienced technicians. It can be sprayed anywhere from paper thin to one inch (or more). For consumer-use truck bed liners, we spray the most areas around an eighth of an inch thick. We find that the thickness we provide more than satisfies the vast majority of our customers. For those customers that use their trucks for heavier, more commercial purposes, we recommend the "heavy duty" upgrade (for a modest additional fee).
Will my bedliner fade?
There is a lot of misinformation in the market about spray-in liner fading. For the most part, the medium and lighter colors will fade to varying degrees over time. Some dealers will say they have special UV protection, but the fact is that fading really depends on the quality of the tint pigments used. Pro Truck, Bus and RV uses only the highest quality tint pigments available, thus reducing our color fading to a minimum. All liners, including all colors and all brands will oxidize in the sun. This looks like fading, but it is really just a slight dulling of the original glossy finish. Rhino Linings offers a product called Rhino Shine that we can apply that will easily bring your bed up to a new looking condition. Many customers use this product every year or two and are very satisfied with the results. Feel free to contact our offices at (864) 729-3755 or info@RhinoProShop.com and speak to one of our staff to setup an appointment.
